. An important meeting of 54 newly elected MLAs of Bharatiya Janata Party was held on Sunday at the BJP office in Raipur to elect the leader of the legislative party.
The name of Vishnudev Sai was approved in the meeting. After the name of Vishnu Dev Sai is finalized, his fans are celebrating. Leaders including workers were seen dancing to the tune of the drum.
Sai will be the first tribal Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh. Although, former CM Ajit Jogi is said to be the first tribal CM of the state, but his case related to it is pending in the court.
Former CM Dr. Raman Singh also attended the legislative party meeting. Raman Singh was at number one as a strong contender in the CM race.
Before attending the legislative party meeting, Raman Singh said that he will also become Deputy CM in Chhattisgarh
Vishnu Dev Sai is considered a big leader of the tribal society. Vishnudev Sai is a big name because he has been MP four times, MLA twice, Union Minister of State and State President twice.
Along with this, he also has long experience of working in the organization. He has also won the Kunkuri seat in the assembly elections in the year 2023.
Even after being removed from the post of State President, he remained continuously associated with the party.
